Yep, I guess we've all got those tales to tell.
Anyway mate, I find that as I get older so do my bikes; there's something about plinking along on a rigid-girder on a country lane on a nice day which is almost spiritual. Old Dig seemed to understand that too, but without a bike (or bikes) to work on it'd be pills or the bottle for sure.
That's why I have no time for the " Jap classic" cobblers. Good reliable bikes no doubt, but where's the involvement? Where's the lurrve?
