B25 Starfire Timing Marks

Hi all, Just taken the inner timing cove off my 1970 starfire and the top timing gear came off before I had the chance to check the timing marks. there's 3 marks on it: ( v ) ( I ) ( . ) anyone know which one it is that lines up with the bottom one.

to the best of my memory there should only be a I on the timing wheel on both the top and bottom gear.
Even had a look at the B25 manual and that only shows the I as the only marks on them.
