The 350s I found in a garage after a 29 yr storage

I found these stored in a garage.they had been there for 29 yrs.The old woman asked me to work on her house,when I got there they were covered with boxes and bags and barely visible.She said her and her husband rode a lot together.Then he got sick and they parked them.He later died and the bikes were never moved again.I bought all three for a total of 500 bucks..Believe it or not the green CB has 216 miles..I cleaned the carbs and plugs,put gas and a new battery in it and fired it up in less than a minute..if you look hard at the back tire just to the left of the turn signal you can see a white stripe,that is part of the sticker that was on the tire..

Quite amazing in fact ~

(I have no doubt that if I fell off the perch tomorrow ~ Ms M would all but give away both of my Bikes and they are regarded as Top of the tree in Classic motorcycles ~ she don't give a Rats about bikes any more ~ )

Im in Florida,A little place called Old Town..As far as the bikes,the green CB is already running,we are enjoying riding it the way it is right now.Im going to do a total restoration on one of the CLs.Both engines are up and running.one has very low compression in one side so thats the candidate for the rebuild.I had a new CL in 1972,just like these and that was my junior year in high school so these guys have a special place in my heart.

You are around my age then, do you know a guy over there called nightrider? Was a member on classicbikes.net ( previous site to this) last heard heading to a storm bunker.
