Handy site http://www.tz350.net/lcracer_article.htm

Had two mates who raced the LC 350 with white tank/blue stripes in the 80's, nice lookers for 2 strokes.
They went like stink in the day, good wee bikes with crazy power band.

:210 One of them was having a fast ride from Gore to Invercargill (about 50 miles) with head down, it was only when he slowed for a sharp corner about 5 miles from Invers that the cop chasing him finally caught him. The cop had been behind him unbeknown all the way. Full noise on a 2 stroke and no mirrors (which was a minor offence to the high speed pursuit which he got lumped with in court) :)

But thank God I can still ride

Having completed a Honda NC24 I'm thinking of a project for the coming winter months. An RD 350 appeals but is this a wise choice, are there any hard to get parts and are they easy to pick up?

Im looking here, at Yamaha RD 250 and there is only 1 person selling it, so I don't know if there are a lots of parts on the market. Better check ebay or other auction sites and see how many motorcycles are there, so you'll get a broad idea of how many parst are on the market.
