gt380 engine year ??

bought a 380 engine but trying to find the year/model to sort parts the engine number is gt380-10779# last digit left off for obvious reasons
can anyone shed any light on this

GT380's started in 1972 at engine number 10001 and in 1973 from 10919, this would suggest that it is a 1972 engine - here's where I found the data:-
