gt 125

anyone ever own one of these or am i the only person ever? most people who ive spoken to owned the 185 which im guessing was mildly better

Yes your not alone, i also had one of these bikes in the 70s/80s. see photo atactched. Although this isnt my actual bike it was found on the net just recently.
i am in the process off trying to reserect it as shown.
It was agreat bike for me as it was the first one that actaully looked great and was great to ride. we i thought so.

I am looking for parts for the gt 125 either a full bike for restoration or even just bits. if you might know of anything please dont hesitat to call me. on 07549031684.

Can i ask you about Suzuki GT 125? How many years did you ride on it? what was your experience with it? How did you find it in terms of mileage what was its average petrol consumption?

sorry just seen the reply, been riding the gt since i got it on the road, i feel the brakes are useless and the standard forks are way to soft, it makes a lot of noise ( i have open filters/no airbox) and pulls like a et up to about 55 60mph not taken it faster than that as havent found a road long enough, as for fuel consumption... well, when you start it u have to refill the tank, but in all fairness it needs about 4000rpm to actually pull off. its currently having its second rebuild, as the rings where worn quite bad, think i done about 3000 miles on them

or leaving a smoke screen when u go up a hill!!! its pretty good at that, will get a vid when ive rebuilt her
