There is an amendment in the pipeline for making pre 1980 motor cycles exempt from lights on in daylight hours :21 rock :250

Off the hook .... sent to me today in reply to my protest ....

The Road User Amendment Rule now requires mopeds and motorcycle riders to ride with their headlamps on or, if fitted, daytime running lamps, during daylight hours. However, this requirement only applies to riders of mopeds or motorcycles manufactured after 1 January1980.
"My arthritis has gotten so bad I can hardly grip anything, my cataracts seem to get worse every day, I have gout in my right leg and can't bend my knee and I can't hear anything.
But thank God I can still ride
