Yamaha CT1 175cc Performance Issue

Hello,
Hope everyone is having a good day. My Yamaha CT1 175cc runs great but once it gets warmed up after riding it for a while it starts shutting off and it's hard to start. Anybody have any ideas what I should do to keep the bike running?

I'd hazard a guess at crank seals worn cracked or just gone hard, although a new ign capacitor is worth a go before an engine strip.
