Hi all I'm a new member who has just finished restoring a BSA A65 Lightning. It was imported from the US and is not cuttingly registered. I believe it is a 1966 model, it has a smooth rocker cover and slim, single leading shoe front brake, rev counter etc but the matching numbers do not seem to match up with the BSA owners club listings.
Both engine and frame number are A65L 5654. The stamps seem genuine and are in the correct place. Can anyone confirm the age of my pride and joy??
