Sorry I pushed the button so I start again. Hi, I bought my Triumph TR6R in Manchester, that was in 1987. I was riding the bike for some years, but then live was changing. Now, I restart the bike ,wonderful . Now Ihave a little problem with the battery it d´not charge. the question is cut be the reason that I ride now al the time with the lights on. or is it because the alternator cant give enough energie to the batterie. May be ther is someone out there how can help me or have expirience in that problem Thanks a lot in the front for an answer.

Hi, I have just found this site and thought I should say hello, I have two BSA C15 Sportsman one complete and one that is all most complete, that one is the first bike I owned back in 1967 when I was sixteen. I was looking on ebay at C15s' and saw my old bike for sale and had to buy it at any cost, when I got it, it was done up as a trail bike so I had to put it back to standard, this all started 18 months ago and I am hoping to finish it this year 2015. Picturs to follow.

I have just joined and I'm trying to get a valuation for an immaculate 1939 Excelsior Manxman. Are there any experts out there who can help. Everyone I have spoken to so far wants to buy it so I feel that they are not offering impartial advice.

I have just paid via Paypal and still cannot download manuals. I received an email telling to go to another web site and re-register. But that asks for personal details and forces me to have to accept communications. i don't want my email address spammed, or my personal address information distributed. I'm new to this web site and at the moment I wonder if I have been conned of £5?

Advice needed with my reassembly of forks as i bought new stanchions seals bushes etc but when I reassemble them there is a 1" or gap between the bottom of the steel gators a d the top if the dust cover. It's weird as springs are correct length but of course the steel gators will hit the top of dust cover when compressed am I missing a spacer or what the hell is going on here ? I can post a photo if that helps

Can anyone out there post a close up picture of the front and rear petrol tank mountings for a 1949 BSA M20. I have a selection of various bolts, rubbers ,sleeves, and caps and they are all different sizes!!! Biggest variation is in the rubber mounts as every supplier sends a different thickness for the same part number, very frustratiing!
