Clutch slip

My clutch has started to slip , i will have to inspect it , will it be better to install a seven plate kit if the plates are worn ? is it an easy DIY ? SUGGESTIONS WELCOME

1971 T-120 bottom end with a 750cc top end , goes like the wind (when the clutch stops slipping )
