For what it's worth, I don't care one way or another who makes it except for two things: 1) it's well made and won't fall apart as soon as you sneeze and 2) as long as it's NOT an outright copyright infringement such as putting a Belstaff/Barbour label on it, it doesn't matter.

As mentioned already, no-one has a trademark or copyright on the image of a wax cotton jacket with four pockets and a belt though there may be on a particular design. As long as these don't violate any of these points......
