Bikes we used to have

How about posting pics of bikes we used to own?

Heres one of a BSA B25ss I had in the eighties, first thing to go was the handle bars, changed for more normal flatter bars and a set of off road tyres. It ran great till one night on the way home it went BANG, head came off exhaust valve causing a fair bit of damage. Sold it on with the bits to repair.

That Kawa was a very nice looking bike....going to flatter 'bars a definite good idea and changing the exhaust system to standard would make it look a lot better IMO, my idea of what they should have been sending out of BSA at the time. But still like the looks of my Starfire (see piccie from Welcome entry)

850 Norton, I certainly enjoyed it when I had it, the performace was a lot better than I expected. The exhaust on it was the standard one for that model. Just popped back to have a look at your bike, looks good and fairly original, did they call it a C25?

Sorry Kawa, meant to say having the exhaust system looking the way the Starfire looked. The exhaust silencer on the B25SS always seemed a little odd looking I thought. Still nice looking though.

My Starfireis from 68 and is original with 7077 miles on it when I bought it two years ago. Originally the Starfire started out as a C25 Barracuda and then was renamed B25 Starfire in 67 or 68.

My first two bikes, a D7 (background) and D14/4 (foreground)

The D14 was my "better of the two" and I preferred the shape of the D7 tank so swapped them over. Sacrilege I know but hey I was young then :250

Ok going to bore you all, the Honda CB200 was the bike my Dad gave me, I think when I was 15, he had bought it to use himself but couldn't get on with it, so stuck with his A7. Still got it in one of the sheds :209

This one, a Suzuki AP50 was my first "legal" bike on the road :1204

Had this Moto Morini for about 5yrs, sold it to help fund my first trip to NZ in 91
