Hi Stu

good to hear you got performance problems sorted. Smooth looking action of the tacho needle (by the looks of it in the video anyways?)

good to see you around Stu, are you looking for some old US HD or Indians that never made it back after WW2 ?

Some scores ~ Draw #3 of Five ~ including ~ The Karma Sutra Bottle opener ~ Rising Suns ~ A Japanese Soldiers helmet Star ~ Mired of calibre bullets ~ SIX Soldiers ID Tags. I have returned one to the family descendants ~ All dug up in a three WWII camp sites nearby home ~

Sadly I have not ridden the bikes since November and have moth balled both for now ~ Long Story ~

I think I am in the same court now mate ~

Ms M is wrapped that I am not planning on riding...

I know 61 is not over the hill but I do have several issues which puts me in harms way by riding ~

Plus I think I soured it too by doing something I knew I should never do ~ I joined a MC club~ Bad move on my part as I have said.. socialise with them but don't become an official member IMO !

And I spent 5 years sweating away i n the shed pouring over the Trident ~ and the Commando and they are STILL not perfect the way I demand... So when I got them both running 9/10 ths ~ I simply slammed the shed door ~

In fact I feel right now I am DONE !

(Digless would turn in his grave ~ NO ~ He would tell me it because I didn't buy BSA's LOL) )

Bad news from both of you then?

Sorry to hear it though. Think I'd give up the sex and drugs and rock and roll before I sold me bikes, but if it's your health at risk it's a pisser, no doubt. Still, at least you haven't gone all pink and fluffy and bought some piece of "but it's so reliable y'know.." Jap shit. u k fl ag

Yes TMan disability comes in different forms ~

Recently at Work < 150> peeps ~ we were given training on physical well being by a Chiropractic and physio specialist . After individual evaluations he referred directly to moir'e as being a 61 year old with the well being, flexibility and dexterity of a teenager ~ He even asked me openly in the class as to how I manage to retain that physical well being !

But when the passion for past time simply becomes jaded ~ one can only anticipate that just maybe that fire in the belly will return ~

"but it's so reliable y'know.." Jap shit.

Does that include Hyundai Pocket rockets ~ ??? It's JUST A CAR ! :158 :158 :158

BTW ~ Ms M is seriously eyeing off my work shop as I have not ~ I barely lifted a single spanner since parking the bikes.... but ~ (don't you hate it when a women is practical and dead right!?) She wants me to buy one may two canti-wheel tool boxes to store everything in paint, accessories and tools. Then sel or ditch all else !

The biggest single use of tools ~ a portable drill ~ a 240V AC / 6V DC converter I used for Zinc plating is ~ (And that lack of use of the tool box is heaven right now !)

Image

Note before and after.. And a very simple and easy process ~ electrically treated in salt water with a SS anode for 4-6 hours ~ and then papered off with wet and dry ~ then finally polish ~

Something sacrilegious about trashing things of beauty ~ be it a 72 year old ~ be it a bike or a bullet ~
