Triumph T20B 'Bantam Cub'

Some photos of the Bantam Cub. I've had this bike since I was 15, when it was 9 years old. It was in a sorry state when I got it and after two years of a clueless teenager riding it around local fields it was even worse! :93 When I was 17 I got it road-legal (well... almost  ) and ran it for a while until the big-end went. Then it was the usual story... stripped it down, got distracted and just left it in boxes for 28 years. In 2007 I finally found time to get it back together in original trim for its 40th birthday.

This was at the 2008 Scottish Classic Bike Show.

... and later the same day on the west bank of Loch Lomond.

Trying to plan a reasonably long road trip on it soon - will post photos if it happens.

Nice :39

I had an S/H (in a tea chest) in those colours. Had it for around 4/5 years, but didnt get any further than building the engine. Sold it a few years ago.. wished I haddn't now! Bloody things are fetching a fortune.

Happy 40th birthday BC, the bikes looks great and the next project could be the silver/grey/black/dirty one next to it.

Get on the case!

Nice cub, and we can all say after reading your story, "wish i'd done that"

Is that cubbie beside yours a hard tail.
"My arthritis has gotten so bad I can hardly grip anything, my cataracts seem to get worse every day, I have gout in my right leg and can't bend my knee and I can't hear anything.
But thank God I can still ride
