Help... A lady at work has just told me that her great grandfathers bike needs to go as its sitting in his garage, he has had it since new ! she was going to give it away to someone who would not treasure such a gem.
She tells me its a 1927 Norton 16H with all the original docs , one owner !.

Can someone give me an Idea of what its worth (I have no internion of buying it, just dont want her to get ripped off)

Check with the auction sites for an idea, as this thing could be a one off depending on condition

Many thanks for your repiies, the lady has told me a bit more about the bike. It has all the original documentaion, service records and receipts etc, there is family photos with the bike since 1928 ! . I have convinced her to keep the bike and show it. not sure where right now ?. I've been invited to take some pics and will post them soon. One went for 7,850 pounds at Bonhams a few years ago.
Many thanks again,

They certainly were works of art, shame so many ended up at the bottom of duck ponds. :135
