Postby cgray0291 » Thu Sep 06, 2012 6:21 pm

Hi there! My name is Callum, im new to the forum and to vintage bike ownership after recently inheriting my grandas BSA! I am unsure of the exact make! All I know is it's a 1931, 350cc and has gear change on the side of the tank!... My problem is that it's needs a full rebuild and I don't know of anywhere that I can get parts! Was wandering if any of you guys can help me?! Would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Hi Callum,

Great that you found the site. It would be a little helpful to know what part of the world you are in? Also how complete is the bike (in parts, together)? You could always post a photo for others to ooh and arhh over. If in the UK there are quite a few suppliers that can help with info and for parts the UK Old Bike Mart from Mortons Motorcycle Media is the best place to source and advertise.

Cheers,

Hi yes I'm in the uk, north east Scotland to be precise! The bike is totally intact! I have found no bits missing apart from the dynamo and battery!

There's a couple of pictures of the bike! There is no exhausts on it in the pics but I have subsequently found some!

Thanks
Callum

Looks like a really nice project. It's a shame Dig is no longer with us as he was an expert on prewar BSA singles. I used to live in your part of the world, in the Buckie area. :220
