This is my BSA

Hello everyone. :110
Although I'm new I confess to being slightly past my prime. :203
However, this is a picture of my BSA:-
Image
I bought it in July 2005 and have thoroughly enjoyed riding it ever since.

Last year we entered the Felix Burke Trial run by the Cotswold section of the VMCC.
Needless to say no awards were forthcoming.
The bike had a weeping petrol tank, mainly due to the Petseal dislodging because of the Ethanol in fuel problem. :17
More petrol leaked than was used in the two day event so something had to be done.
The tank was sent to be "re-made". A chap in Bristol unsoldered all the seams, repaired/replaced as necessary, re-soldered and cleaned the tank and finally tin-plated it completely (inside and out).
After a re-spray the finished job is superb and guaranteed 100% leakproof (any fuel).
Mind you, the tank showed up other blemishes which have been glossed over in the interim (at considerable expense)! :201

Amazing, this BSA looks so excellent such as Bullet. Although, there are amounts of motorbikes I have seen and many of I have been driven but never get encounter of such bike. I think you have been modified it maybe.

Actually it looks like a very nice original vintage bike ~

Yes ~ Bikes too can be little like owing a boat ~ tend to suck up the dollars or pounds if not prudent eh ~
