Postby Steve T80 » Tue Apr 17, 2012 12:05 pm

Hi all,
Im looking to buy a new Lycette type saddle to replace the old "full double seat" that was on the t80 when I picked it up, should i go for the small or large option?

Hi Steve,

In all probability neither of them will fit properly, I've just been through this with my '39 B23, bought a small, then a large saddle, both Wassel, Small ones too small to fit correctly and the large one fouls the tank at the nose, I'd recommend looking for an original saddle and restoring it.

Regards
Ray

Hi Ray,
Just as I imagined, the worst of both worlds, I'm kicking myself now, an original came up on eBay a couple of months back, I think i will keep looking for one, thanks for the reply.
