Solution for t90 electrics ?

Postby Neilgd » Thu Mar 11, 2010 4:23 pm

Got through to the Boyer technical guys.
They've told me that it is 90% certain that the boiling of the battery will have damaged the circuitry in the box messing up the timing even though I'm still getting a spark.
2 Boyer dealers told me that if I'm getting a spark the box is ok.
Boyer boxes like to operate between 11 and 14 volts. Below 11 confuses them above 14 can damage them and a boiling battery can produce surges of 16 volts.(this is Boyer talking)
I had the option of sending it back to them from France for testing costing probably £25 or buying a new on for £55. I've taken the second option. I hope it works !!
I'm very grateful for all the help and advice given.
Thanks
Neil
