YAMAHA SRV250

I quite like the look of this SRV250 on ebay at the moment - Wondered if anyone has any experience of owning one ?

Seems a lot of money for a 250, I would have expected it to be about £800 given the age of it.

Looks like it could be quite a nice little Jappa, but for me, a 250 is too small. I make it a rule now not to waste time on anything smaller than a 350, though even some of those can be a little sluggish.
It's not that I want to steam everywhere at motorway speeds (far from it!) but I just like to know that any hills or over-taking etc aren't going to be a problem. As Fido says, you could always try beating him down a couple of hundred...

I agree with your comments - I fancied a little run around that had a classic look (I already own a TDM900 and an Suzuki SV1000). But £1,350 seems steep - I agree £800 seems more reasonable.

Might make an offer and see if he bites !
