Help to find old bike con rods

Postby notaclue » Fri Sep 14, 2012 5:08 pm

Hi i dont know if this is the right place to post this but here we go.
My first post and may be the only one as I have to be honest I dont know much about bikes!

I am looking for a 3 old one peice motorbike con rods, these are for another use. I have a broken one and have measured it (not sure how to post a photo, but have one) the cast alu size is approx 1.65mm thick, large hole is 31.3mm across, top area width is 41.6mm length from top edge to egde of small hole is 91.8mm the smaller hole loop is broken off. it sounds a bit complicated if I know how to post a pic it might help???

Thanks

Ant.

If they're for another use then why not use some from a car engine instead? They'll be much cheaper as you could pick up a knackered bottom end for scrap value from a breakers.

Been told that by the size of them they are from an old bike, so a car to big.
