To set your minds at rest I have no intention to ride my wee BSA with out a silencer - the reason for removing the traditional silencer pipe is to free up space for rear sets - I am in the process of making an in pipe silencer which will give the appearance of a straight pipe with out the loutish sound.

Not really insults, trouble being it very much up to the guy who is doing the MOT, as he is not allowed to use a sound meter, if he thinks it louder than 80decabells or even the Cop that stops you then your in trouble. Sort of catch 32, dammed if you do dammed if you don't.
